How does the photo-based calorie estimate work?

When you take a picture in the App, it's sent over HTTPS to an AI vision service that identifies the food items and returns an estimate. The photo isn't stored on our servers. A thumbnail is kept on your phone alongside the meal entry so you can review it later. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

How accurate are the estimates?

Photo-based estimates are approximations. Portion size and hidden ingredients (oils, sauces, dressings) can shift the number significantly. Use the edit screen after a scan to correct any item — the App will remember your changes for that meal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → AiKCalify, and tap Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.

How do I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for the AiKCalify purchase. We don't have the ability to issue refunds directly.

I had a subscription on a previous device — how do I get it back?

Open the App → Profile tab → "Restore Purchases". This re-checks your Apple ID for an active AiKCalify subscription and re-activates premium features.

Why does AiKCalify ask for HealthKit access?

It's optional. If you allow it, the App reads your steps and active energy so the calorie ring reflects what you actually burned, and writes the meals and weights you log back to Health so other apps see them too. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health.

How do I delete my data?

Your personal logs live on your device — deleting a meal, weight or activity entry removes it immediately. Uninstalling the App removes all local data. To request deletion of analytics data tied to your install, email support@aikcalify.com with the subject "Delete my data".
